The government has today announced its acceptance of the low pay commission’s recommendations on minimum wage rates to apply from april 2024. The uk government announced that the minimum wage, also known as national living wage, will increase to £11.44 per hour for workers over 21 from april.
Forecasters expect costs to rise in october. There are five rates of national minimum wage (nmw), as of 1 april 2024:
Age 21 To 22 = £10.18.
